Philosophy

• In addition to larger enterprizes, we support primarily small to medium company operations in Central and Eastern Europe. As a contribution to sustainable economic development driven by individual innovative enterpreneurs in the respective countries.
• Since 1999, KOW has been a member of TI Switzerland, the Swiss chapter of Transparency International:  www.transparency.ch / www.transparency.org.  Since then, chapters have opened in practially all countries of eastern Europe, including Central Asia. We are networked with companies and organizations with a similar focus.
• Kommunikation Ost-West maintains active collaborative partnerships with related organizations. We are member of following associations and institutions:

• In recent years, Kommunikation Ost-West has engaged in more international projects promoting renewable energy sources and individual or national efforts at energy efficiency. Promoting knowledge transfer between Central Europe, especially between Switzerland and Eastern Europe, is our particular concern.
